Having a giggle

I was walking by the Guadiana with friends a few weeks ago and chanced upon this work in progress. I loved it, but there was no time to ask questions. By the end of our walk, the artists had gone to lunch and I was left staring at the notations and squiggles, which obviously meant a great deal to somebody. So that’s how it’s done? I really must go back to see the finished work.

Walking today, but not in that direction. Have a great weekend, everyone! See you on Monday.

  2. This must have been the street art you were talking about. He’s a charmer! One guy has an expression that looks a little bit like Barney Fife on the Andy Griffith Show. Did you ever see it? Don Knotts. Can’t wait till he’s all there!

      • It is 100% public art. My eye is fine! LOL I just felt badly. I did go back to check though. You know me, I love to chat! Barney was an American icon for the bumbling policeman. He couldn’t do much right and was hilarious doing it. πŸ™‚

  4. Are you sure all those squiggles weren’t just a joke on passers-by – something to puzzle them, get them talking? The completed parts look good, and it will be nice to see the finished result one day. Have a nice day, it’s raining here!

    • I have no idea really, until I go back for another look, Mari. As expected, Becky has seen it too. A bit overcast here but we had a good uppy-down walk and lunch at our cheap and cheerful Indian, so a good day overall.

  5. Phew! Have you two finished your interesting chat? I was going to say that this looks more like a complicated equation than Notes for a Painter. But it must have been the latter if Becky has seem the finished product. Have a great weekend, both, with or without your engagement rings.
