Old habits die hard. Walking… eating the occasional cake… I may have left young Restlessjo behind, but the older model would like to stay mobile for as long as possible. My walks were such a popular feature of the previous blog. It seemed a shame to jettison them completely.
Feel free to come along with me. I like company, but I also like to walk alone. How about you? Got any walks to share? Excellent! Just put them in the comments below. I’ll include them next time I post a walk. Keeping it as easy as I can.

Here are a few to start you off.

But if you’re into Heritage, maybe you’d find this event interesting? Thanks, Becky, for the information
One of your followers (Sarah Wilkie) has suggested that I send you a link to a blog I did yesterday as she thought you might like it. I’m not one for joining group challenges as such, but if you think it’s worth making a one-off contribution I’ll be happy to oblige. If so, please let me know how you want me to deliver it.

Morning! Just had a look around your beautiful site. I have Polish family in Krakow and I love the trip down the river to Greenwich. Don’t have time now to fully appreciate your Mousehole post now but if you leave a link in the comments on my latest walk I’ll get back to you later. Thanks a lot! It’s not a challenge as such.

Fantastic! Always happy to meet someone with similar tastes but I left a huge following to escape the challenges. I might have got it wrong but you can only try. A juggling act to hang on to lovely friends made. π€π

I’m late commenting too, and this is a very old walk indeed. Ah well. https://margaret21.com/2021/10/15/a-castle-fit-for-a-captive-queen-revisited/

No, but I don’t want to say joke or lol every time I comment. It’s up to the individual? π€π

Hi Jo just sending the link to the recent walk we did down south in Denmark (the Western Australian one!). The Mokare Heritage trail was a beatiful walk along the Denmark River out to the Wilson Inlet and back to town. The Heritage Rail Bridge at the head of the inlet (where it meets the river) is part of the Bibbulmun Track and a number of other trails intersect at this point so it is very appropriate for a walking theme I think. Here is the link anyway (just whenever) https://lechicenrose.com/2021/08/29/mokare-heritage-trail-denmark/comment-page-1/#comment-15543 π

Thanks, darlin! That’s kind of you. I’m sitting here in semi-dark in torrential rain this morning. The first we’ve had since May so a rare treat. Not sure about the outdoor lunch we planned today, but I’m happy to have this today…and possibly tomorrow… because our next door neighbour arrives on Saturday and she hasn’t managed to get over from England for almost 2 years! And then we have company arriving on Sunday, so blogging will have to fit around that. Bye for now, hon!

Hi Jo – I’m sorry for the very late reply! I do hope you’ve been having a lovely time with your friends! I have also been absent from the blogosphere for a couple of weeks. Had a busy time with one thing or another – sports days and some extra school run duties etc. The Uk situation doesn’t any easier so just trying to support from afar. Off out for a friend’s birthday soon so must go and get ready. Just wanted to say hi and hope all is well, take care xx

Hi darlin! Never a problem. Chris went home Friday after a lovely few days. Likewise we had a birthday celebration today with our neighbour, after a walk in the salt marshes π€π
